The 'Rootboot' is an innovative boot attachment, designed for attachment behind any tine-based tillage tool utilizing a knife point for soil penetration, enables the distribution of paired seed rows spaced about 75mm apart.
This boot facilitates the placement of fertilizer and liquid products (such as liquid fertilizer containing trace elements, fungicides, etc.) between these seed rows, ensuring a soil buffer zone separates the seeds and fertilizer.
The positioning of the fertilizer and liquid fertilizer is slightly deeper than the seed bed, by around 15mm. A key feature of this design is the fixed spatial relationship between the outlets for seeds, solid fertilizer, and liquid fertilizer, guaranteeing consistent placement of these elements.
The uniqueness of this system lies in the arrangement of the seed, solid fertilizer, and liquid fertilizer outlets, with the fertilizer tube positioned behind the seed tube. The design of the seed outlets is streamlined to allow soil to smoothly cover the seeds, encapsulating them effectively.
